Project Management Training
The Project Management Office provides project management courses to Texas A&M University System employees. All courses are Project Management Institute (PMI) compliant. Credits earned in these classes can be used to obtain or maintain a Project Management Institute PMP credential.
Training LISTSERV: To receive announcements about upcoming training opportunities, join the PM-TRAINING LISTSERV. To join, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the following text as the body:

Where Firstname and Lastname are your real name.
The Texas A&M Project Management Certificate program includes completion of the following four classes and a capstone assignment within one year.
- Project Management and Leadership
- The Project Manager as Communicator
- The Essentials of Project Management
- Managing Project Quality and Risk
To gain the most from this certificate program, complete the courses in the order listed above. Certificates are documented in employee records through SSO and TrainTraq3.
These courses offer a look into a single aspect of project management or the integration of project management with other common frameworks.

Custom Trainings: As time permits, the PMO can tailor a training specifically to the needs of your organization. If you are interested in project management training for a group, and do not see a course that meets your needs, please email email@example.com to discuss the possibilities.
PowerSteering: Training is available on the PowerSteering project and portfolio management tool.
PMP Prep: If you are interested in receiving a PMP credential, the PMO is available to answer questions about the application process and provide advice about training resources. At this time, the PMO does not offer a PMP prep course.
