Project Management Training

The Project Management Office provides five project management courses to Texas A&M University System employees. By completing this program, employees may earn a Texas A&M Project Management Certificate. This program is Project Management Institute (PMI) compliant. Credits earned in these classes can be used to obtain or maintain a Project Management Institute PMP credential.
Course Descriptions and Schedule
Texas A&M Certificate
The Texas A&M Project Management Certificate is offered to those who complete all five training sessions and a capstone assignment within one year (365 days). To gain the most from this certificate program, complete courses in the following order: Project Management Leadership, Project Management Communications, Project Management Essentials, Project Management Quality and Project Management Risk.
Certificates are documented in employee records through SSO and TrainTraq3. Certificates must be renewed every two years by attending additional project management classes or events.
